About DBA

A professional home for digital operators.

The Digital Business Association is an independent professional initiative for people whose businesses, careers or operating systems depend substantially on digital channels.

Why it exists

Digital business now cuts across categories that are usually treated separately: ecommerce, performance marketing, SaaS, agencies, online education, automation, analytics, creators, marketplaces and digitally delivered services. DBA provides a neutral place to organize useful research and identify the people doing the work.

What membership means

Membership means participation in the DBA professional directory and access to DBA resources. It is not a government credential, license, accreditation, certification of competence or endorsement of every member's claims.

Editorial standard

Research pages distinguish source data from DBA calculations and proxies. Directory listings are reviewed before publication. Education listings are editorial resources, not paid rankings, unless a future page explicitly discloses otherwise.

Founded by an operator

DBA was founded by Julian Farley, a digital entrepreneur and systems builder whose work spans automation, systems design, marketing and online business. His founding profile contains his professional background and independent links.
